About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Compliance Professional to join our team at Aspire People Limited. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in compliance or health and safety roles, ideally within an educational or public sector environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk assessments are current and complete for all school activities, areas, and equipment.
  • Regular checks of school facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate and organised health and safety records and ensure easy access for relevant staff members.
  • Prepare regular compliance reports for the school leadership team, highlighting any areas of concern or non-compliance.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in a compliance or health and safety role, ideally within an educational or public sector environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with school staff at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with compliance management systems.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer access to training and development opportunities to further your expertise in health and safety compliance.
