As a Library Assistant, you will play a vital role in achieving this mission by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment for clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

">- Deliver high-quality customer service to clients, responding to their queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist with the maintenance of library collections, including cataloging and processing books, CDs, DVDs, and other materials.
- Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills, contributing to the delivery of training on routine aspects of Public Service Point work.

Requirements

">- A minimum of five GCSE/GCE O levels at grades A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent, including English and Maths or equivalent/higher qualification.
- At least one year's experience working with the public in a face-to-face customer-focused environment.
- Proficiency in the use of e-mail and the internet to support people using online services/current technology.
- Good oral and written communication skills.

Terms and Conditions

">- Salary: £21,000 - 26,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- NJC terms and conditions of service.
- Membership of the Northern Ireland Local Government Pension Scheme (automatic for persons eligible to join).
