We're seeking a seasoned professional to join our Asset Services, Client Service Delivery team as a Client Service Director (VP) in Manchester. This role is a hybrid opportunity that combines the best of both worlds.

About the Role

As a Client Service Director, you'll be the voice of the client within our Asset Servicing Business, ensuring that BNY Mellon delivers a consistently outstanding client experience across our product range. You'll work closely with Relationship Managers and global service delivery teams to ensure overall service quality, client satisfaction, and a consistent client experience for our most complex clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of our clients' business, operating model, and technology strategy
  • Deliver exceptional service aligned to clients' needs and expectations across all products and services
  • Cultivate a strong relationship and appreciation for what drives our clients' service requirements
  • Facilitate communication across our clients' organization, industry news, regulatory updates, and BNY Mellon changes
  • Monitor service quality, product performance, and overall client experience to proactively anticipate potential issues and opportunities
  • Deliver robust operational analytics, insights, and transparency into service performance, leveraging industry interfaces
  • Provide strategic insight into improvements across service delivery, product, technology, and operations to create optimal client solutions
  • Navigate our technology, product, and operations groups to improve service today and build better solutions for the future

Requirements

  • Strong ability to build collaborative relationships, both internally and externally with clients
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Operate with a sense of urgency and prioritize effectively
  • Clear and concise communication skills, adaptable to different audiences
  • Strong controls focus and ability to escalate when necessary
  • Leadership skills and ability to guide less experienced team members
  • Experience working with top-tier investment services firms
  • Experience delivering outstanding client experiences in client service delivery or financial services operational roles, particularly in Custody and Fund Services
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum years of experience in financial services or similar industry
