We are seeking a seasoned Client Service Director (VP) to join our Asset Services, Client Service Delivery team in Manchester. This role is a hybrid opportunity that combines strategic leadership with hands-on client management.

About the Role

As a Client Service Director, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences across our product range. You will act as the voice of the client within the Asset Servicing Business, ensuring that BNY Mellon meets its service delivery commitments while maintaining regulatory compliance. Your expertise will be essential in cultivating deep relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our clients' business models, operating strategies, and technology roadmaps.
  • Deliver outstanding service aligned to clients' needs and expectations across all products and services.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, fostering a deep appreciation for their service requirements.
  • Facilitate communication across clients' organizations, staying informed about industry news, regulatory updates, and BNY Mellon's product evolution.
  • Monitor service quality, product performance, and overall client experience, proactively anticipating potential issues and opportunities.
  • Provide strategic insights into service delivery, product, technology, and operations, driving optimal client solutions.
  • Navigate our technology, product, and operations groups to improve service delivery and build better solutions for the future.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to build collaborative relationships, both internally and externally with clients.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to apply problem-solving techniques.
  • Operate with a sense of urgency, prioritizing effectively to meet client needs.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, adapting style to suit different audiences.
  • Strong controls focus, knowing when to escalate issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, providing guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Experience working with top-tier investment services firms or delivering outstanding client experiences in a client service delivery role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum years of total work experience in financial services or a similar industry.
