Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Group Reporting Advisor to join our London finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the preparation and consolidation of the Italian companies' consolidated financial statements and financial management of the Holding Company (AEHL).
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and comply with Italian legal, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.
- Familiarize yourself with fiscal bodies and other regulatory bodies needing ad-hoc reporting support.
- Proficiency in understanding Italian filing deadlines.
- Own accounting and financials by delivering Statutory accounts.
- Own JV reporting and asset accounting projects for 2024.
- Automate cost reporting templates for inclusion in financial statements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, owning the audit process from planning to completion.
- Participate in the implementation and improvement of financial reporting systems and processes.
- Work on the implementation of new accounting policies and procedures to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate with cross-geographical Azule Finance teams to ensure quality and completeness of financial reporting.
- Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance the overall control environment.
- Ensure financial applications are robust and align with business requirements.
Requirements
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualifications are required, preferably from Italy, and proficiency in the Italian language.
- Knowledge of dealing with accounting and reporting in the Italian regulatory environment.
- Solid financial reporting working knowledge, with exposure to group reporting activities, preferably with the BIG 4 in Italy.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
