About the Role:
Your new company, a fast-growing AIM listed business headquartered in London, is seeking a highly skilled Group Accountant to join their team. As a result of recent acquisitions, the company needs to expand its accounting capabilities to support its continued growth.

Your Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Statutory and Group Accounting: Prepare and review statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Consolidated Statutory Accounts: Support the preparation of consolidated statutory accounts, including the consolidation of subsidiaries.
  • PLC Reporting: Prepare and review PLC reporting, including interim and annual reports.
  • Acquisition Accounting: Implement and maintain acquisition accounting procedures, including fair value accounting and goodwill impairment testing.
  • Share Based Payments Accounting: Account for share-based payments, including employee share options and restricted stock units.
  • Budget and Forecasting: Assist with the preparation of the budget and forecasting, including cash flow forecasting.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be recently ACA qualified from a Top 4 or Top 10 practice and looking to make their first move into industry. Experience with consolidations and IFRS is desirable but not essential.
