Dovehaven Care Homes is recruiting for a Clinical Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for ensuring that care staff adhere to CQC guidelines and deliver high standards of care to residents.

About the Role:

This role requires a skilled and dedicated individual who can manage the care team, promote positive risk taking and empowerment, and supervise less experienced staff. A strong emphasis is placed on ensuring that all residents feel as comfortable as possible in a supportive and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the care team to ensure high standards of care are delivered
  2. Supervise less experienced staff to enable them to fully contribute to the care provided
  3. Promote positive risk taking and empowerment among residents
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
  • Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
