Ensure Patient Access to Oncology Products

Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for optimizing the adoption and utilization of Amgen's key Oncology products across various territories in the UK. Your primary focus will be on generating clinical demand, facilitating local access, and engaging in formulary, pathway, and funding initiatives to support Amgen's mission of 'Serving Patients.'

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis and assessment of accounts to ensure an understanding of issues, key brand advocates, stakeholders, health priorities, commissioning, procurement activities, and regional networks.
  • Prioritize customers to refine segmentation plans and identify key opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement account plans to ensure achievement of account priorities and regional and national brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare account plans, ensuring alignment and prioritization of activities.
  • Identify and engage with opinion leaders to develop effective engagement plans.
  • Ensure timely and effective implementation of agreed activities within account plans, adhering to time, cost, compliance, and quality constraints.
  • Translate national plans into regional plans of action, ensuring alignment with overall strategy.
  • Develop and track progress metrics to evaluate success and measure progress relative to targets.
  • Maintain effective collaboration within and across teams to ensure alignment, progress updates, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Degree in a scientific field and ABPI qualification.
  • Proven track record of high performance in a hospital sales environment within Oncology, preferably in lung cancer, gastric cancer, and/or breast cancer.
  • Strong relationships with key stakeholders within assigned territories.
  • Experience in maximizing growth through complex pathways.
