Quality Assurance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Stevenage. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our electronic equipment and preventing/minimising product non-conformance.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Reviewing and maintaining equipment quality planning documentation
  2. Ensuring compliance to Electronic Engineering BMS procedures
  3. Managing product non-conformance and facilitating the implementation of non-conformance processes
  4. Providing non-conformance data analysis and summary reports
  5. Proactively identifying and mitigating quality risks and issues
  6. Participating in engineering process improvement and facilitating local flash audits
  7. Planning and facilitating quality-focused micro training

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to have a good understanding of the product lifecycle and quality assurance principles.

We are looking for a candidate who is a practitioner of current QA problem-solving and improvement methods, with a proven track record in quality assurance. You will also need to have a good knowledge of the SAP QM system and document management tools.

Requirements

  1. Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or Quality Assurance, or considerable previous experience in a related role
  2. Experienced quality professionals, preferably within Electronic Engineering
  3. Strong analytical skills and ability to run reports in Excel
  4. Continuous improvement awareness and ability to use own initiative to deliver improvements

About the Role
