About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Malmaison York. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in ensuring the team delivers the brand standards in a smooth and consistent manner.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute menu launches, promotions, and events.
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, inventory, and waste management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
