About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team in Whiteabbey. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our kitchen, supporting the cook in the development of a balanced menu, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the cook in the preparation of meals, ensuring that all food is prepared to a high standard and presented in a visually appealing way.
  • Assist with the completion of kitchen documentation, including food safety checks and cleaning schedules.
  • Contribute to the creation of a welcoming and homely environment for our service users.
  • Work collaboratively with the cook and support staff to ensure that meals are provided that meet the standards set by RQIA.
