Drive Operational Excellence with Digital Solutions

We are seeking an Operational Developer to join our dynamic team at a Bridgend-based manufacturing company. As an Operational Developer, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence through innovative digital solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing digital applications and outputs, such as dashboards, applications, and reports, to support operations
  • Collaborating with the wider business improvement team on cross-functional improvement projects
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting current operational support systems
  • Developing and enhancing operational digital systems, tools, and platforms
  • Creating analytical reports and dashboards for the operational management team using ERP data sets
  • Helping execute collaborative improvement projects

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Strong experience in a Software/Systems Development role
  • Desirable: Six Sigma or equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Access
  • Capability in using Power BI software, and understanding of SQL Server, including VBA
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
