We are looking for a highly skilled Scheduling Specialist to join our client on a prestigious new school build project in Cardiff.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Planner in construction, ideally on large-scale projects worth £50 million or more, and advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Maintain Project Schedules: Create and manage detailed project schedules, outlining project milestones, critical paths, and resource allocation.
  2. Progress Monitoring: Track, update, and report on the project's progress, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones.
  3. Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are aware of schedule requirements and project changes.
  4. Risk Management: Identify potential scheduling risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  5. Document Control: Maintain detailed records of schedule changes, project adjustments, and other documentation for reporting and analysis.
  6. Reporting: Generate and present regular reports, including progress updates, delay analysis, and forecasts, to project stakeholders.
  7. Resource and Cost Allocation: Work closely with the project team to ensure the efficient allocation of resources in line with project budgets and timelines.
  8. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that project schedules comply with industry standards and contractual requirements.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
