**Job Title:** Academic Learning Assistant

**Estimated Salary:** £22,000 - £26,000 per annum

**Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support: Provide assistance to SEN students and others within the classroom, promoting inclusive learning environments.
  • Individualized Support: Deliver one-on-one and group support to students with additional learning needs, including SEN and EAL.
  • Curriculum Access: Facilitate students' access to the curriculum both within and outside the classroom.
  • Social and Emotional Support: Address students' social and emotional needs, promoting confidence and resilience.

About You:

We seek an enthusiastic individual dedicated to supporting student education and well-being in Lewisham. Essential qualifications include experience working with secondary age students in an educational setting, preferably with SEN experience. A degree or previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant is highly desirable, along with knowledge of strategies for supporting SEN students.
