About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at GLG Vets. As a Veterinary Surgeon at our practice, you will be involved in providing high-quality care for small animal patients. You'll benefit from a collaborative team environment, where your expertise and professional development are encouraged. Our practice is fully equipped with modern facilities, ensuring that you have all the tools you need to provide exceptional care to your patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing clinical services including consultations, surgeries, and diagnostics
- Working closely with a skilled team of vets and support staff to ensure the best possible care
- Maintaining excellent client relationships through clear communication and empathy
- Contributing to the development and growth of the practice
- Embracing CPD opportunities for continued professional growth
Requirements:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience (recent graduates will be considered with appropriate mentorship available)
- A strong passion for animal care and welfare
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on client care
- Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to work
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to thrive in a rural setting
