Role Overview

We are seeking an Unqualified Teaching Assistant to support children with SEND/SEMH needs in a Primary school in the Borough of Ealing.

About the Role

This long-term, full-time position involves working with pupils in a 1:1 and small group setting, assisting them with Maths, Reading, Writing and more. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a good understanding of SEN.

The role requires supporting children in and out of the classroom, as well as helping class teachers to deliver class material. The successful candidate will be able to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs in a Primary school setting
  • Working in a 1:1 and small group setting to assist with Maths, Reading, Writing and other subjects
  • Assisting class teachers to deliver class material
  • Supporting children in and out of the classroom
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must hold a degree from a reputable University (1st Class or 2:1) and have a passion for education, learning and working with children.

Experience within a school and working with young people with additional needs is highly desirable. A good understanding of SEN/SEMH needs is also recommended.

What We Offer

This role offers a competitive salary of £105 - £110 per day and is a long-term, full-time position. Working hours are Monday - Friday, Term-Time only, from 8:30am - 4:00pm.
