Emotional Support Specialist

A supportive and skilled Emotional Support Specialist is sought by Academics Ltd to provide tailored emotional support to students in our specialist school. This rewarding role will involve facilitating individual and group support sessions to help students navigate their feelings, build resilience, and develop coping strategies.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create a safe and positive learning environment, promoting the wellbeing of all students.
In this important position, you will:
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with ASD and other mental health challenges
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement specialized learning plans and interventions
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of children with severe mental health needs and ASD.
