About the Role:

Academics Ltd is seeking a Mental Health Assistant to work with our specialist school for children with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs based in Bracknell. The successful candidate will support the academic learning, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour of these students. You will work alongside trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists to provide a therapeutic approach to support the students.

As a Mental Health Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working with Complex Needs and develop your skills in supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues. You will also receive training and mentorship to support your professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the academic learning, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour of students with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs

* Work alongside trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists to provide a therapeutic approach to support the students

* Develop relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support

* Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum
