About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Child Psychotherapist to join our Harbour Therapies team in Dorset. The successful candidate will work closely with children, young people, and families to provide specialist psychological services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessments of need for young people requiring a trauma and neurodevelopmental informed approach.
  • Work directly with young people and parents/carers to promote stability and connection within the family system.
  • Consult with social workers and other key professionals to facilitate psychologically informed care planning.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology or equivalent.
  • Eligibility for Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist Status in the British Psychological Society.
  • Clinical experience with children in care, children and adolescent's mental health, and working with their carers.
