Cybersecurity Threat Investigator

We're seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Threat Investigator to join our team at Silversky, a global cyber security company with over 20 years of experience in the industry.
As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of penetration tests, including infrastructure, web applications, APIs, mobile, wireless, and cloud testing. You'll use automation technologies, manual penetration testing tools, and known hacker tactics and techniques to identify vulnerabilities and create value for our clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Performing penetration tests, reproducing, and validating known vulnerabilities
- Developing and authoring simple tools via scripting language
- Creating strong narratives and analysis for publication
- Assisting in pre-sales efforts as a penetration testing subject-matter expert
To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security or equivalent experience (5+ years) in red-team/penetration testing roles. Strong knowledge of industry penetration testing tools, networks, Linux systems, Windows systems, web applications, and scripting languages is essential.
You'll also need experience identifying and exploiting web application vulnerabilities, writing penetration testing reports, and administering network and host-based security tools. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Go, Rust, PHP, Perl, Bash, Ruby, PowerShell is highly desirable.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
