Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Emulation Expert to lead our purple teaming function and ensure TP ICAP's cybersecurity defences are robust and effective. As part of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for simulating sophisticated cyber-attacks to test our defences and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute purple team sprints to improve our ability to prevent and detect modern cyber-attacks.
  • Simulate established and emerging attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and develop detection rules and response procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Security Engineering team to deploy and tune security-related tooling.
  • Develop processes for monitoring and validating our attack surface.
  • Act as an escalation point for the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and assist with incident response.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Practical experience in emulating sophisticated cyber-attacks, preferably in a purple or red team capacity.
  • Deep understanding of modern attacker tools, techniques, and procedures.
  • Experience working with a SOC and ability to identify and collect relevant telemetry sources.
  • Development experience in one or more programming languages, ideally including Python.
