Postdoctoral Research Associate in Nanopore Biochemistry

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor Yujia Qing on a project developing nanopore sensing technologies for functional biomolecules, funded by UKRI/ERC.
About the Project
The project involves designing and optimizing nanopore sensing technologies for the detection of functional biomolecules. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own research and administrative activities, including small-scale project management and coordination of multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in Biochemistry, Chemical Biology, or a relevant subject area, with experience in protein engineering and biocatalysis. The ideal candidate will have excellent research and project management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
