About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Breast Radiologist to join our team at BHRUT NHS, providing comprehensive breast and general radiology services. This 12-month fixed term post is an exciting opportunity for a consultant radiologist to contribute to the development of our radiology services.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will share responsibility for providing comprehensive breast and general radiology services, including MDTs and on-call services. They will work closely with the current radiology team, participate in weekly MDTs, and contribute to the development of subspecialty interests.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive breast and general radiology services, including symptomatic One Stop Breast clinics, Breast biopsy clinics, and reporting of breast MRI and cross-sectional images.
  • Participate in the general duty roster and hot reporting sessions.
  • Contribute to the Breast and general MDTs with other colleagues in rotation.
  • Work cross-site between KGH and QH.
  • Ensure prompt attendance at agreed direct clinical care programmed activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • MB BS or equivalent qualification.
  • FRCR or equivalent qualification.
  • Fellowship/equivalent experience in Breast Radiology.
  • MRCP/MRCS (desirable).
