Tuberculosis Nurse Specialist

As a key member of the Community Respiratory Service, you will be working to support and monitor patients with Active TB, Latent TB, NTM, and TB contact tracing screening, including Mantoux testing.

Supervising treatment, including directly observed therapy (DOT), you will work closely with UKSHA, developing relationships and presenting at Cohort Reviews.

You will also collaborate with Acute Respiratory physicians at Watford Hospitals Healthcare Trust to provide comprehensive care for patients.

The role requires a comprehensive understanding of clinical governance and evidence-based practice, as well as excellent documentation and computer skills.

With a strong focus on patient care and community engagement, you will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and monitor patients with Active TB, Latent TB, NTM, and TB contact tracing screening
  • Supervise treatment, including directly observed therapy (DOT)
