Seeking a Dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are currently looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills and experience in a supportive environment.

About Our Practice

Barton Lodge Veterinary Centre is a well-established small animal practice situated in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. We offer a wide range of facilities and services, including a dedicated operating theatre, consulting rooms, and extensive in-house laboratory equipment.

Our practice is staffed by a team of experienced veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses, student veterinary nurses, receptionists, and administrative staff. We pride ourselves on our commitment to providing high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide clinical nursing care to patients under the supervision of a veterinary surgeon
  • To assist with surgical procedures and administer anaesthesia as required
  • To maintain accurate records of patient treatments and medication
  • To communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless patient care
