About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at GLG Vets in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the growth of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to pets, ensuring their well-being and comfort throughout their stay with us.
  • Assist our experienced veterinary surgeons with consultations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Monitor and manage patient recovery post-surgery or treatment, providing reassurance and support to pet owners.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and provide essential education to pet owners on their animal's health and care requirements.
  • Support the clinical team with routine and emergency care, working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.
Requirements
  • You must be a qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a genuine passion for animal care and welfare.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach are essential, allowing you to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and animals.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development is also required, as we encourage and support our staff to pursue further Continuing Professional Development opportunities.
