Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Coach and Digital Support Specialist to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in empowering individuals to unlock their potential and secure sustainable employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Assessments: Conduct diagnostic assessments with participants to identify barriers and create personalized action plans that address their unique needs.
  • Performance Target Achievement: Meet and exceed performance targets by continuously improving strategies and seeking input from participants and stakeholders to deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Service Signposting: Signpost participants to internal and external services that address needs such as debt management, mental health, and career coaching.
  • CV and Interview Preparation: Ensure participants have well-crafted CVs, supporting statements, and cover letters, and prepare them for interviews through mock interviews and assessment activities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate electronic participant records that reflect the broad spectrum of support offered, within the required timescales and to the required standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience working in fast-paced environments and delivering against performance targets.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills to inspire and influence participants while addressing their diverse needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Flexible and creative in solving complex challenges and delivering personalized solutions.
  • Digital Literacy: High-level digital literacy to effectively utilize digital tools and platforms.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage a varied caseload and deliver exceptional support while juggling multiple priorities.
