About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our care team at Westgate Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our elderly residents in all aspects of daily life.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support residents with their daily activities, including assisting with personal care, developing individual care plans, and helping with meal choices.
  • Champion residents' dignity and independence, providing a friendly and reliable presence.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, relatives, and team members, prioritizing workload and maintaining accurate records.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment, building relationships and providing support as needed.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • The right to live and work in the UK.
  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • A caring nature, positive attitude, and ability to work in a team.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a team and take initiative.
  • Previous experience of working within the adult care sector.
