Job Title: Project Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at CRH. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing long and medium-term contracts, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining a high level of respect from clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Contract Management: Plan, schedule, and control the work content through various stages of design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and take-over.
- Financial Management: Monitor and control the financial budget, forecast regular progress, and take corrective action to maintain profit margins.
- Client Interface: Act as the primary point of contact with clients, ensuring effective communication and resolving any contractual issues.
- Team Management: Lead and support project team members in delivering projects and tasks, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Commercial Management: Arrange for commercial facets of contracts, including insurances, bonds, guarantees, and shipping documents.
- Sub-Contracting: Prepare and negotiate sub-contracts for key elements of the contract.
- Health and Safety: Apply the requirements of ISO45001 and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Quality and Environment: Apply the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 and 14001 as appropriate.
- Experience: Significant experience in the water industry, with a proven track record of managing long and medium-term contracts.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and project teams.
- Education: Relevant qualifications in project management, engineering, or a related field.
