Decimo, located on the 10th floor of The Standard, London, is a culinary destination that showcases live fire cooking and offers dramatic views across the London skyline. As a Host at Decimo, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Your Role
We are seeking a highly social and motivated individual to join our team as a Host. As a Host, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience for our guests, ensuring that every interaction is professional and positive. Your role will involve:
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued
- Managing reservations and seating arrangements to ensure a smooth and efficient service
- Working closely with the restaurant team to ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience
- Assisting with the preparation and service of food and drinks
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements
To be successful as a Host at Decimo, you will need:
- Prior experience as a Host or Restaurant Receptionist, ideally gained in a similar busy restaurant or 'Lifestyle' boutique hotel
- Highly social, motivated, and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
- Prior experience using OpenTable and squirrel epos
- Confident in restaurant and bar operations and service, with a passion for food and drinks
- Available full-time with full flexibility to work Tuesday – Saturday
