Decimo, located on the 10th floor of The Standard, London, is a culinary destination that showcases live fire cooking and offers dramatic views across the London skyline. As a restaurant that has been featured on BBC1 Master Chef and voted one of London's Top 100 Restaurants, we are committed to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Your Role
We are seeking a dynamic and highly social individual to join our team as a Decimo Host. As a Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a warm welcome for all guests
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements
- Assist with table service and ensure a seamless dining experience
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a high level of service standards
- Be knowledgeable about the menu and able to make recommendations to guests
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Host or Restaurant Receptionist, ideally gained in a similar busy restaurant or 'Lifestyle' boutique hotel
- Highly social, motivated, and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
- Prior experience using OpenTable and squirrel epos
- Confident in restaurant and bar operations and service, with a passion for food and drinks
- Available full-time with full flexibility to work Tuesday – Saturday
