About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Planner to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Planner, you will manage planning applications, appeals, and pre-application enquiries. You will conduct research and prepare planning appraisals to assess site potential. Additionally, you will write high-quality reports with clear recommendations, lead client meetings, and community engagement sessions. You will oversee projects, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with timelines and safety standards.

Competitive Salary
£60,000 - £80,000 per annum is offered, reflecting your expertise and experience as a Senior Planner. Private medical insurance, a BUPA cash plan, and discounted gym memberships are also included. Hybrid working and enhanced annual leave, including loyalty leave, provide a great work-life balance.

Key Requirements
A degree or Master's holder in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI accredited) is required. Two years of experience in a planning role, preferably within the public or private sector, is necessary. Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills are essential. A strong understanding of the UK planning system and legislation is necessary.
