About the Role

Vita Health Group is seeking a skilled Health and Wellbeing Coach to join our team. As a Health and Wellbeing Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver health and wellbeing workshops, exercise classes, and one-to-one coaching sessions to support individuals in achieving their health and wellbeing goals.
  • Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized health and wellbeing plans to address the needs of each individual.
  • Contribute to the development of health and wellbeing programs and resources.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to health and wellbeing support.
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 accredited qualification in personal training or exercise instruction.
  • Level 3 GP Referral (also known as Level 3 Exercise Referral) or willingness to work towards this within the first 6 months.
  • Experience of delivering face-to-face or virtual exercise classes.
  • Experience of working individually and within a team.
  • Ability to encourage behavioral changes and design individualized health and wellbeing plans.
  • Sound health and wellbeing knowledge, including exercise and nutrition.
  • Experience of working with individuals experiencing mental wellbeing difficulties.
  • Basic knowledge of the Talking Therapies mental health service.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Adept in time management and prioritization.
  • Friendly and approachable with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion.
