About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Specialist to join our Gynaecology Outpatient team at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing procedures, while also managing junior staff and providing administrative support to the Unit Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing care and support to patients undergoing procedures
  • Managing junior staff and providing administrative support to the Unit Manager
  • Preparing clinics, setting up operative equipment for minor procedures and investigations
  • Supporting Clinicians in operative clinics and general Gynaecology administrative work

Person Specification

  • First-level registration with the NMC and evidence of ongoing continuous professional development
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently, with excellent interpersonal skills and IT literacy
  • Demonstrated initiative, ability to work under pressure, and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality patient care
