About the Role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Video Editing Apprentice to join our team at McCann Manchester. As a Video Editing Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop a career in video editing, gaining experience in providing support and assistance across projects such as commercial spots, brand videos, animatics, documentary, and training videos.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team on all projects across the post-production process
  • Gain experience across Premiere and After Effects, as well as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cinema 4D
  • Learn about the behind-the-scenes process of creating compelling content from a brief, while adhering to brand guidelines
  • Support with the initial stages of the creative process, coming up with ideas and proposals for content

Requirements

  • GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths
  • Desire to learn and develop a career in the exciting world of video editing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adaptability and ability to work well under pressure
  • Organisational, administrative, and budgeting skills
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of and a genuine interest in video editing

If successful, you will be invited to an assessment centre which will include group exercises, an interview, and a numerical reasoning test – and of course, lots of laughs and fun along the way. This will be followed by an interview with some of the team.
