Senior Event Strategist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute event strategies that align with Dow Jones' goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver high-profile events, including conferences, exhibitions, and corporate brand events.
  • Research and pitch new event ideas that support the company's marketing ambitions.
  • Oversee event design, experience, and brand presence to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Partner with marketing teams to manage event marketing, providing recommendations and guidance on best practices.
  • Manage event production, working with technical teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure event content and experience meet goals and objectives.
  • Create and maintain project budgets, plans, and schedules.
  • Guide team members and build industry and business knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of event industry experience or similar.
  • Ability to be flexible, travel within EMEA, and adapt to conflicting time zones.
  • Experience managing heavy and contrasting event schedules.
  • Strong copywriting, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of event design and marketing processes.
