Skilled Operator

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Skilled Operator to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and successful completion of all manufacturing activities, including assembly and testing.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that all aspects of manufacturing are efficiently controlled and successfully completed in the required timescales to satisfy customer and company requirements.
- Operate machinery when possessing the necessary training and experience, and participate in the multi-skilling objective to operate within the company.
- Maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Work in an efficient and organized way, managing non-productive time to avoid unnecessary costs to the business.
- Assist with factory maintenance programs and maintain a clean, efficient, and tidy work area.
- Assist in packing, stores, and paint areas when necessary to meet business requirements.
- Travel to UK, overseas, and offshore installations on behalf of Celeros Flow Technology to perform service/maintenance contracts, requiring offshore survival training and medicals.
- Work a reasonable amount of overtime to meet both company and customer requirements.
- Strong industrial experience within a similar role and/or time-served apprentice.
- A sound mechanical engineering background, with HNC or higher preferred but not essential.
- Highly organized with excellent communication and time management skills.

- Required daily to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, and see (specific close vision abilities are required to perform computer work).

- Required occasionally to lift and/or move objects that are light to moderate.
- Required occasionally to travel (usually by air or road, so may be required to sit for extended periods).
