Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Surface Preparation Specialist to join our team at Expert Employment.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable background in industrial shot blasting and painting, with proficiency in operating shot blasting equipment and related tools. Strong man management experience is also essential, as the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising priming and painting processes for medium to heavy fabrications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate shot blasting equipment to clean, prepare, and finish surfaces according to project specifications.
  • E nsure all surfaces are properly prepared for coating, painting, or other applications.
  • Supervise priming and painting processes for medium to heavy fabrications.
  • Inspect equipment regularly and perform routine maintenance as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable background in industrial shot blasting and painting.
  • Proficiency in operating shot blasting equipment and related tools.
  • Knowledge of industrial spray painting equipment.
  • Strong man management experience.
  • Ability to interpret project specifications and work orders.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
