About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Activities Director to join our team at HC-One. As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities for our residents, promoting their physical and mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and activities that promote the care home's mission.
  • Provide support and guidance to colleagues in delivering activities and events.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and safety are maintained at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
