**Job Title:** Experienced Social Worker
**Location:** Durham, North East England
**Salary:** £32 per hour (assignment rate)
**Contract:** Locum, 3-Months
**Hours:** Full-time

About the Role

This challenging and rewarding role involves working as a Senior Practitioner within a well-established Children's service. You will be responsible for carrying out Looked after Children reviews, ensuring Child Protection procedures are adhered to, and working with cases in care proceedings.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carrying out Looked after Children reviews and assessments
  • Ensuring compliance with Child Protection procedures and protocols
  • Working with cases in care proceedings and undertaking risk assessments
  • Developing and implementing multi-agency plans for children returning to their families
  • Undertaking direct work with children and young people
  • Preparing reports and presenting them to panels and courts
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant frontline experience in Children's Services
