About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer Assemblies to join our team. As a key member of our Wing Plant Engineering Team, you will be responsible for supporting the Wing Component Delivery Teams in delivering high-quality Design solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in design engineering and will be able to work effectively with Manufacturing Engineering to meet the needs of our Industrial System. You will be responsible for leading design investigations and formulating technical solutions for Manufacturing Non-Conformances and Design Investigations.

You will operate as a lead design engineer and must hold design approval signatory in particular for manufacturing non-conformances. You will act as a focal point in leading and providing guidance on technical issues and governance, and will support technical mentoring for engineering team members.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead design investigations and formulate technical solutions for Manufacturing Non-Conformances and Design Investigations.
  2. Work effectively with Manufacturing Engineering to meet the needs of our Industrial System.
  3. Hold design approval signatory in particular for manufacturing non-conformances.
  4. Act as a focal point in leading and providing guidance on technical issues and governance.
  5. Support technical mentoring for engineering team members.
