Laser Test and Assembly Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Laser Test and Assembly Specialist to join our team at Carbon 60. This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled engineer to work with high-tech laser systems.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for precision optical and mechanical assembly of laser components, testing and characterizing laser systems, and troubleshooting complex issues.

About the Role:

  • Precision optical and mechanical assembly of laser components as part of the production process.
  • Testing and characterization of laser systems through defined procedures.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Analysis of data and presentation of results in a concise reporting format.
  • Manage test scheduling and results database.
  • Continuous focus on improvement of test station accuracy, repeatability, and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in laser system testing and assembly.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary Range: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum.
