We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to lead our Complex Needs Team at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role and make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

About the Role

This role involves providing assessment, diagnosis, and management to children within designated caseloads, as well as leading the development of innovative practices, projects, and therapy packages in specialist areas. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of assessments and therapy techniques, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with other professionals and parents.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for administration and record-keeping, adhering to Departmental and Trust regulations concerning patient records and the Data Protection Act. You will also participate in the development of Team and Service clinical policies and plans as directed by the SLT management team.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy, HCPC registration, and a masters-level qualification or equivalent knowledge and skills demonstrated through wide-ranging paediatric experience and training. Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists is desirable.
