Education and Learning Support Role

As a highly skilled SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of learners with physical disabilities.

About the Job:

  • Assist Specialist Tutors in delivering bespoke lessons and activities tailored to meet the needs of learners with physical disabilities.
  • Contribute to the collaborative team effort, working alongside speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and behavior support staff.
  • Offer targeted support to students with physical disabilities and learning difficulties, promoting academic achievement and personal growth.
  • Maintain a secure and nurturing learning environment, responding promptly to any safeguarding concerns.

Key Requirements:

  • No prior experience necessary, but a thorough understanding of the Teaching Assistant role is crucial.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people would be beneficial.
  • A deep commitment to supporting young people with physical disabilities and learning difficulties.
  • A strong desire to build a rewarding career in education.

Salary: £79 per hour. Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm, 5 hours per week. Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Term Time Only.
