Practice Plus Group is the largest independent provider of NHS services, delivering a new model of Integrated Urgent Care that reduces pressures on services and staff. Our Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) supports our NHS 111 call centre, offering patients the right care when they need it.
Role Overview
As a Clinical Lead Practitioner in our CAS, you will use and develop your skills and expertise as a General Practitioner, providing diagnosis, treatment, advice, and referrals to other healthcare resources via the phone. You will work autonomously within your sphere of competency, leading a multi-skilled team that includes advanced nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, making informed decisions about diagnosis and treatment.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
- Use our electronic prescribing system to effectively manage patient care.
- Develop and maintain your skills and expertise as a General Practitioner.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and experienced General Practitioner to join our team. You will have a strong clinical background and the ability to work autonomously within your sphere of competency. You will be a good communicator and team player, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
