About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Health Care Support Worker to join our Community COPD Team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

The successful candidate will work alongside registered nurses, physiotherapists, and consultants to provide optimum patient care. You will be responsible for supporting the team in delivering the COPD specialist service across Coventry, working in clinics and visiting patients in their homes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of the COPD specialist service across Coventry, working in clinics and visiting patients in their homes.">
  • Work closely with registered nurses, physiotherapists, and consultants to provide optimum patient care.">
  • Undertake agreed clinical and non-clinical tasks, extending range following training in defined practices.">
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.">
