Requirements:
  • Degree educated in Finance, Economics, Law, or other equivalent.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFA, ACA, FRM).
  • Significant experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or policy development with specific experience in Basel III, Basel 3.1, and CRR implementation gained from the Banking sector.
  • Proven track record of working within UK regulatory environments and a solid understanding of PRA and FCA guidelines.
  • Experience with capital adequacy, liquidity requirements, and financial policy development.
  • Deep expertise in Basel 3.1 regulations, CRR rules, and their practical application to capital, liquidity, and leverage requirements.
  • Experience in policy writing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks and translate them into actionable business policies.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and regulators.
