Job Details:
Job Title: Control System Engineer
Location: Glenrothes, Fife
Salary: £65,000 per annum

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will play a crucial role in continually developing the DPS Group client base.
  • Working within allocated project budgets, you will exercise commercial awareness while liaising with stakeholders.
  • Closely collaborating with the project team and management, you will ensure that provided solutions are optimally priced, technically acceptable, and align with client specifications, current legislation, and company offers.
  • As an Automation & Process Control System Development expert, you will provide software and hardware solutions, along with testing, commissioning, and documentation as required for all projects and tasks.
  • The Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of allocated projects, working closely with the Project Engineer/Manager to achieve this goal.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Proven experience in PLC programming and SCADA knowledge.
  • A strong understanding of automation and process control systems.
  • The ability to design and implement control software for various industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial awareness and budget management skills.
