Leading Defence Solutions as a Test Development Engineer

Copello Global is seeking an experienced Test Development Engineer to join our team, delivering defence solutions across all domains: land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace.

This role will involve designing, developing and testing board level, sub-system and system level test equipment, ensuring it meets the required specifications and standards.

About This Role

As a Test Development Engineer, you will lead the design, manufacture, verification and validation of test equipment, ensuring it meets the required specifications and standards.

  • Design and develop functional test equipment, ensuring it meets the required specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to agree system designs, interfaces and protocols, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Develop comprehensive technical design documentation, including design specifications and implementation details.
  • Provide support to manufacturing, answering product queries and resolving technical issues.
  • Monitor and report progress of test development to immediate supervisor and development team.
What You Will Need

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering or a related subject (preferably at 2.1 Hons or higher).
  • Proven experience in test software design.
  • Excellent knowledge of analogue and digital electronic circuit design.
  • Able to write comprehensive technical design documentation.
  • Proven experience in handover and management of designs in production.

The estimated salary for this position is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
