Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £23,100 per annum, plus a range of benefits that support work-life balance and personal growth. These include 28 days annual leave (increasing to 33 days after five years' service), an additional birthday day off, Blue Light Card, and access to an employee assistance program (EAP) for confidential support and resources.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Field Care Supervisor to join our Bristol branch. As a key member of our team, you will work under the direction of the Field Care Manager or Care Planner and Branch Manager, implementing systems to ensure domiciliary care services meet and exceed legislative standards.
Responsibilities:
- To undertake domiciliary care risk and manual handling assessments on new clients/service users prior to the provision of a domiciliary care service.
- To maintain an effective system for quality assurance management based on the outcomes for service users, clearly defining and monitoring standards and indicators on a continuous basis.
- To meet domiciliary care workers formally on a one-to-one basis for direct supervision at least quarterly, keeping written records of each meeting's content and outcome.
- To assist the Field Care Manager or Care Planner and Branch Manager with the delivery of a care assistants' development and training program, ensuring members can meet the changing needs of clients and service users.
- To participate in an on-call roster, providing and coordinating cover for unplanned absences to maintain the service.
Requirements:
- Experience of supervising others within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent assessment skills.
- Holding a valid UK driving license and access to a car is desirable, but alternative travel arrangements will be considered.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
